Another week of traveling, last week
Well, another week of traveling has come to an end and this has been a very crazy one, packages lost in the shipping, Dialogic cards that didn't work, lost cables... I also had to stay an extra day due to all these challenges but at the end it was another succesful job. Thanks God for that.

A new and gratifying experience
I'd like to start by saying that the day before yesterday I had a very nice talk with my wife, I invited her to a frapuccino at Barnes & Noble, my favorite place in the wolrd and we sat down and talked about business for the very first time without arguing and without blaming each other because things haven't come out as expected up and 'till now. We analized the reason why things haven't come out the way we wanted and we planned a little bit on what we would need to do in order to get the results we expect. It was short and sweet but I feel it was a good starting point. It's worth trying again.

The parable of the talents, that's what the Bible passage that you will find below is called. I have read this parable before when I started reading the New Testament of the Bible but yesterday we had a good friend come and visit us and we talked about it and it took on a whole new meaning for me. I came to a profound understanding of the meaning of God's words and realized that sometimes although we are reading we are not really understanding what we are reading and when it comes to the Gospel we definitely have to pause and meditate about it. It made me understand that we all have talents, and even though he refers to talents as a monetary sign in ancient history, I will think of talents here as a synonim for our skills and abilities to relate to the world and give to it the best we have to leave our legacy and when we are not giving to the world the best of our abilities we are wasting our precious existence and our time on this earth. So we have to be reassured on the fact that whatever our "talents" are we have to give it all because that's the only way we can grow, become better persons and make the world a better place to live for those that will come behind us.
Inspirational Bible passage
For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.
And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.
Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents.
And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two.
But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money.
After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them.
And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.
His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.
His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:
And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.
His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed:
Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.
Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents. For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.
And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Building on my first goal
Today I will start with steps 1 and 2 of my first elected goal which was building the Auto dialer. By the end of the day the hardware and software part of it wil be ready to start operating as soon as I get the numbers and put the scripts together.
